Title of magazine.
ALT.
My magazine title is 'ALT' which was finally created from the inspiration of my genre, alternative/indie and 'ALT' is in reference to alternative being different and unique which i want my magazine to come across as. My genre i knew would be my main inspiration for my magazine title as this would attract the attention of my readers being as thats what they indie and alternative individuals and having 'ALT' as my title i feel readers may really connect with my different and unique magazine. I also love how short simple and dramatic this title is, it will entice readers to want to know more about my magazine and its simplistic unique ways shown just from the title.

Chosen Genre.
My chosen genre for my magazine design is alternative/indie, this genre is used by both male and female and is known for having their on different style of fashion, music taste.
The 1975 are an example of a alternative/indie music band.
foals is another example of a alternative/indie music band.
Kodaline is also another alternate/indie music band.
These are all examples of indie/alternative fashion as all the styles are different and unique.
These are all examples of alternative/indie artist's and their music videos which are classed as indie and alternative.

Target for the week.
My targets for the week ahead is to find 10 cover magazine pages that are my favourite from the last 12 months. Identify my preferred genre of music for the magazine i will be creating, showing images of artists, fashion and music videos of this chosen genre. Then reflect on the skills i have required up to this point for example photo shop and terminology skills i have learnt. Also analyse at least one magazine cover, one magazine contents page and one magazine double page spread and a minim of 3 for each using a minim of 10 technical terms, these magazines must come from my chosen genre. Lastly evaluate what i could copy or take from my chosen favourite magazines and evaluate how realistic it is for me to create this magazine from my favourite genre.
