Weekly target.

As the coursework deadline is this friday this week i need to be making the finishing touches to all my pages, the cover, the contents page and double spread to get the better higher grade. As all my ideas have been made i just need to make sure everything is how i want it to be and the ideas all work together to make a magazine, last minuet touches to my work will be needed.

This week i shall continue some more progress on my cover page if needed, but start drafting new or improving ideas from my draft of the double page spread and maybe even improve or add to my article as new better ideas for this magazine have been made since my first draft of the article and improvements everywhere will need to be made now.

This week i plan to start designing or redesigning my cover page, start playing with new and old ideas from my draft with the influence of clash magazines design. Being as i although have done my potential design of my contents page i need to now follow that design throughout my magazine, taking the clash designs into account as well but placing my own mark and ideas into my own magazine cover page design as well.

Weekly target.

This weeks target is to make the improvements my teacher has made comments on my draft, then play around with new ideas to use. As i am more influence by clash and their magazine styles i want to make my magazine design look and feel more like clash. I shall need to do some research into clash magazine and then influence their style into my magazine more by altering my ideas and changing my draft.

This week i need to take my teacher comments and other students comments on my draft design into account and maybe start improving or redesigning my draft for my final ideas and design to be in on march the 14th. I shall start with my contents page because i wasn't impressed with my draft design for that and have already ideas of what i want to try out and play around with. I also need to help other class mates by commenting on their blogs and draft designs to find improvements for them to improve their work for their final magazine design.

This week i need to plan ideas for my photo shoot for my draft, play around with ideas and insertional photographers photos and modelling then do my photo shoot which i will need to place all images taken on flickr and begin editing and playing around with black and white, brightness levels and colour to improve my photos quality. Then place images onto my draft to complete my draft design to hand in for the end of this week.

Weekly target.

My target for this week is to create my band profile from my research i have found, then start drafting ideas for magazine designs and layouts complete all mock up designs on paper and designing a pretend photo shop version with pretend images and text found online, just to start playing around and showing potential ideas. Possible design and survey to help with research for my magazines tarts direct from the audience of my magazine and respond to any comments on my blog from teachers or other students also comment back on their blogs to help them with improvements. I need to start writing and finishing my article draft with inspiration from magazines like clash and ID, their article language and style. I even need to start preparing and researching for my first photo shoot for my magazine draft.

Music band.

I have chosen the name The Saints for the music band that appearing in my magazine. I chose this band name as i wanted something unique and random that my target audience would be attracted to. I found this name by going onto Wikipedia and selecting random article and the first article was on fazzio saint, so from that i chose the word saint and made it sound more like a band name, The Saints. This band  is obviously from my music genre alternative/indie and i have chosen to have them as a boy band and I'm having the lead singer of the band appearing in the double page spread of my magazine but in the rest of the magazine i do interview the other band members.
i have done some research on alternative/indie boy bands and want to create a band that follow in The 1975, Foals, Kodaline and Little comets footsteps. These are bands i listen to myself and i want my band to be simpler in style and music to these successful music bands. 

Target for the week.

My target for this week is to take in my teachers criticism on my current work and improve on it, then reflect on what my preliminary work ended up like. Show pitch to the rest of the class and take in their comments and improvements to my ideas so far. Then i have to start research into my band thats appearing in my magazine, what band type, band style and design, little details like that to explain reason for the band i then have to make and design from that research.
